ASPIRE 2 Dance Programme (A2DP)

FOR OTHERS, THERE’S THE ASPIRE 2 DANCE PROGRAMME

Organized by Maya Dance Theatre, the ASPIRE 2 Dance Programme (A2DP) is a 06 (six) months performance-based dance enrichment programme specially designed for both novice and intermediate dance artists aged between 14-25 years old. The programme aims to provide participants with fundamental trainings in dance techniques and performance skills to enable them to develop into better dancers and performers.

ASPIRE 2 Dance Programme will impart in participants specialised dance trainings. Trainings will be facilitated by experienced and professional dance trainers and choreographers who will conduct skills based trainings of techniques and dance forms. The students will also be introduced to basic arts and performance management.

At the end of the programme, selected participants who have successfully completed the programme will be invited to perform with the professional dancers from Maya Dance Theatre and the dancers from the ASPIRE 1 Dance Programme, in a dance production scheduled in October/ November 2010. 

The ASPIRE 2 Dance Programme is an exciting and professional dance programme priced affordably at $80.00 per month only for 4 hours per month of dance and fun!

The sessions will be conducted every Saturday from 11:00am to 1:30pm at the dance studio at Apsara Asia (2 Kampong Kapor Road), located near little India.
