ConversAsians

Held at the Esplanade from 26 – 29 May 2010, ConversAsians is a 4-day event that celebrates artists and their contribution to the Asian performing arts scene. From established masters to the rising stars of a younger generation, the artists featured are known for their impressive track record of innovative work and distinctive styles.

Targeted at producers, presenters, artistic directors, curators, cultural decision-makers, artists and arts students who have a keen interest in the development of the Asian arts scene, ConversAsians puts the focus on artists and their artistic journeys. Through a series of talks, discussions and workshops, participants will gain a deeper insight into the creative process of these featured artists as well as engage in meaningful dialogue about the performing arts scene today. These artists will also show their works-in-progress, performance excerpts as well as complete works.
